Today! Fellowship Feast – Immediately following the baptism (approx 12:00). All are welcome to join us as we break bread together.

Worship Jam Session – Can you sing or play an instrument? Do you desire to use your gifts to worship God? Sunday Feb 20th at 12:00, we will be having a fun and relaxed opportunity for anyone who would like to play or sing with some other musicians. We also plan to use this as an avenue to discover those who might be interested in serving on a future worship team. Lunch will be provided. See Ancel Schoberg or Pastor Troy with questions.

Ladies Bible Study Breakfast – Saturday February 19th at 9:00 am. Becky Avella will be sharing on the topic “Yield & Gain Joy”. Breakfast casserole will be provided, but you are welcome to bring a side dish to share (optional). Join us for food, fellowship, prayer and a study in God’s Word.

Homeschool Mom’s Encouragement Night – Thursday February 24th 7:00 pm at the home of Miranda Rissinger. Please see Jaclyn Lopez if you have any questions about this ministry.

Wednesday Night Opportunity to Serve – We are in need of a teacher on Wednesday nights for the pre-school & elementary aged kids (approx 10 children). You would have an adult to help you. Our prayer is to have 2 or more teachers so we can rotate as we do on Sundays. Let Jake Lopez know if you are interested.

Next Weekend! Women’s Retreat – “The Yielded Life” Fri/Sat, Jan 28-29. The ladies will be gathering at the Garden Valley Retreat House for fellowship and time with the Lord. Special guest speaker is Sue LeBoutillier from CC Ontario. Cost is $35 which includes meals and cabin rental. Sign-up sheet, info & map on back table.

Tomorrow! House of Prayer – Beginning Monday January 10th, we will gather to have an all-church prayer meeting each week starting at 6:30 pm. This will take the place of the men’s prayer breakfast and the ladies evening prayer meeting. No childcare for this yet.

Youth Girls Game Night…Next Saturday! – January 15th at 6 pm at Rembrandts Coffee House in Eagle. Fun time for the girls to hang out and have some fun together. Bring a few dollars for a treat or drink. If you have questions, see Jaclyn Lopez or Lindsey Lonseth (253) 302-6644.

Halloween Outreach – Sunday Oct 31^st we are having an outreach to our community in conjunction with our monthly potluck and Prayer & Praise. We’ll have a BBQ/Potluck at 4:30, followed by prayer and worship at 6 pm. At 7 pm we will gather in the front of the church to hand out candy and tracts to trick or treaters. We will have a bounce house, games and refreshments for the kids. Join us as we share Christ and love our neighbors. No costumes please.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast – We will be starting up the weekly men’s prayer breakfast again on Saturday, September 11^th at 8 am.

Discover the Meaning of Life – Beginning August 11^th we will begin studying through the Book of Ecclesiastes on Wednesday nights. Bible study starts at 7 pm, dinner at 6:30.

Kids Clothes – There are a few items for little ones under the sink in the ladies’ restroom if they need an emergency change of clothing.

Prayer and Fasting – Next Saturday is our monthly day of fasting and prayer…won’t you join us? We pray and fast wherever we are that day for the needs of the church family, as well as the people in our community and the outreaches we support. We will send out an email this week with some specific prayer needs.

Teen Girls Study – Wednesdays at 7 pm. Jaclyn Lopez is leading a group of girls through the book “A Young Woman’s Call to Prayer” by Elizabeth George. The book is provided for each girl who attends.

Next Saturday! Church Summer Picnic - July 31st at 11am-3pm at Hawthorne Park (change of location). Music by Double-Edged Sword, Illusionist show by "ministry thru Ministry" (www.4truth.org), lots of food, and fun for the kids. Volleyball, tug-of-war, water balloon toss, fishing booth, shave your dad, three legged race, cotton candy, pulled pork, hamburgers and hotdogs. Come early if you would like to help set up. Maps on back table. Tell a friend!

Landscaping - We are planning to change the look of the front of the church (add grass, trees, water feature, remove rocks, etc.), sometime in late August/early September. If you would like to be on the crew to help with that project, let us know.

Guest Speaker - Bill Roscoe the Executive Director of the Boise Rescue Mission will be the guest teacher on July 25th. Come and hear a message from Bill and some updates on what the Lord is doing in this local outreach that we support.

Cyrus Mcrory Fund - One of our brothers and a church elder, Cyrus McCrory, just had surgery for a brain tumor this week. A fund to help them offset the bills and his inability to work has been set up by Calvary Chapel Boise. Passover Seder - This Wednesday April 14th at 6pm we will be having a traditional Jewish Passover Seder dinner. Potluck sign-up on back table for side dishes and dessert (optional). Kids 6 & up with adults, 5 and under in trailer learning about Passover.

Prayer In addition to Saturday morning men’s prayer breakfast, we also invite everyone to join us in the prayer room before Sunday service at 9:30 am to pray for one another. We will also be praying over the requests given to the church the previous week at that time.

Summer Events We have a place for our summer picnic, but are still considering a summer camping trip too. Let us know if you have any suggestions for a place to go camping!

Announcements

Marriage & Family Ministry Beginning in June, we will be meeting once a month for marriage/family related topics. Discussion, videos, guest speakers, Q&A, and looking to God’s Word for direction. Be on the lookout for the time and date!

Prayer Room We now have a prayer room off the church lobby. Most of the toddler’s toys have been moved to the children’s trailer with a few remaining in the church in the cry room off the lobby.

CC Middleton on the world-wide web! – We now have pages on Facebook, MySpace, as well as a new website (work in progress…ccmiddleton.com). We plan to inform everyone about events this way (as well as Sunday and Thursday). On the website there will be a calendar, “How to Know God” page, photos of church activities, the weekly bulletin, as well as an “ask the pastor” forum. Take a look! May God be magnified through all of them.
